Wedding Cakes
Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I am already looking forward to getting to know you and together design a cake you will love. Please know that I am a home-baker and do not operate out of a commercial kitchen and unfortunately, some venues do not permit bakers such as myself. However, many venues do accept my business license documentation so please ensure your location will permit Little Cake House prior to falling in love with my cake.
It is highly suggested that you reserve your wedding date ($100 non refundable deposit) at least 6-8 months in advance. Below you will find a guide for my wedding cake pricing and cake tasting opportunity.
Classic Display Cake
This cake is classic and refined; an excellent backdrop for fresh flowers. It is a vanilla or chocolate cake with a smooth and/or textured buttercream exterior.
Interested in another flavor?, any other cake flavor or filling option is an additional $0.50 per serving. Want some height?, then add $10 for each tier.
Custom Display Cake
A custom wedding cake is much more than a dessert. It is a art installation that complements and enhances the wedding experience. A custom cake cannot be priced based on the number of servings, rather on the time required to design and create a one-of-a-kind edible sculpture. Custom cakes include buttercream floral work, intricate piping, wafer/rice paper floral sprays, and painted surfaces. A custom cake demands an immense amount of time and therefore pricing is only possible with a conversation between the client and myself. For guidance, please expect a cake to start at $150. Side Cake
A side cake is a roughly frosted, non-decorated cake that is not intended for display. Its purpose is to meet the needs of a budget-conscious-couple who would rather have a smaller, personalized, wedding cake design with side cakes in place of one large, tiered cake. These cakes will be delivered to the kitchen and served with the main display cake. A side cake serves 50 guests and consists of 2 layers of cake and 1 layer of filling. - $175
These prices are based on a vanilla or chocolate cake with vanilla/chocolate buttercream filling. Any other cake flavor or filling option is an additional $0.50 per serving.
Dessert and Display Cake Policy
To maintain a cohesive dessert experience and uphold the quality standards of my work, any supplemental cake servings, sheet cakes, or cupcakes must be provided through my bakery when a display cake is ordered.
I am happy for you to source desserts elsewhere if they are items that I do not provide. However, when it comes to cakes and cupcakes I ask that these be supplied exclusively by Little Cake House.
